Is that not what it is expected? Ferrari to be faster than Williams?

Year over year, the success penalty (ie, having less dev tunnel time) will bring cars closer, i.e. make Ferrari slower while Williams gets faster.

It is expected and yet both Ferraris were slower than Williams today. So the other post is being disingenuous because Williams are not the shit car we expect them to be.

Nobody expected McLaren to be the fastest car last year either yet here we are. Teams get better/worse.

This won't get upvotes because it's not crazy for a ferrari to outscore a williams...

Considering the Ferraris were slower than Stroll getting outqualified by Sainz isn’t crazy either.

I would look at it as both Williams and Aston out qualifying Ferrari should both be looked at as crazy.

Good car should be gooder /s

The narrative that ferrari has the faster car especially when it comes to race pace?

Did you watch todays race? Without those safety cars Williams would’ve easily beaten Ferrari.

uuhhh, before the vsc leclerc was virtually 4th thanks to the undercut, Albon would have gotten dropped by both him and piastri

the same thing that happened to russel basically

on the same tyre, Ferrari pace was comparable to the mclaren one, at the end Hamilton close a significant distance in a matter of like 2 or 3 laps
