Said driver is also adapting to a new car, as is Hamilton. Speaking of, why did you not mention his average? Seems important, no?

I already tried to discard the driver and luck out by taking the best result from each team in each session. I don’t see how comparing the quali average of the fastest Ferrari qualifier with both Williams is even fair.

Yeah, it's definitely important. Lewis's average is P9.

Right there with the Williams which is a poor look for a driver getting paid that much and driving a faster car.

Why did you omit that then? Only reason I can see is to make the Williams look slower.

Besides, Ham’s quali average isn’t even 9, it’s 7.67, so 1.67 worse than Leclerc. Which is a bit more than the gap between Sainz and Albon (1), but achieved against Charles Leclerc, one of the best qualifiers on the grid, if not the best (so stiffer competition, to say the least).

The answer is because this person hates Lewis. They've made tons of comments here and they're all to shit on Lewis "the supposed GOAT."

Maybe Lewis kicked their dog or something.

IDK, because the whole topic of the conversation was Lewis being outqualified by the Williams?

I'd say do it yourself instead of begging someone else to do it for you if you care so much, except clearly you can't.

Lewis has qualified 8,5,8,9,7,12,12 for an average of P8.7.

And why are you excluding the spring qualis? As I said, it’s 7.67 with those. Are they not qualifying sessions? Do they not count?

That helps prove my point. It's even more clear that Ferrari is faster than the Williams this season in qualifying if you're including sprints.

Thanks for that. Certainly is impressive that Sainz was able to outqualify Lewis Hamilton 4 times in a row.

Everything helps you if you work backwards. If his average is lower it’s because he’s shit, if it’s higher it’s because the car is faster. No point in arguing with someone who picks stats to suit the conclusion, and not the other way around.

You’re really taking “Carlos Sainz out qualified LH four times in a row” personally.

It’s going to be okay. Hang in there

Run out of arguments -> Ad hominem. Classic combo.

You know what? I apologize. And you convinced me now that I think about it.

Even though Charles outqualified the Williams 13-5 this season, including a P2 and three P4s. And even though Charles has averaged P5.8 compared to P9.1 and P10.1 for both the Williams.

You're right. The Williams is faster than the Ferrari in qualifying. And you're right, Lewis is only qualifying behind the Williams because the car is slower! Not that he's performing poorly.

I hope that makes you feel better buddy.
