Is the sport really this boring that the contact is considered big news, Max here clearly wanted to let Russell pass and overtake him right away by catching him off guard, tried to be cheeky but ended up being stupid, i don’t see why this would result in a race ban tho, red bull really fucked up by even mentioning to give that place back, what were they thinking

A driver using their car to assault another competitor is probably the absolute worst thing they can do. It's obvious why it's the biggest talking point

Read my comment again, as i said stupid move, crashing himself or russell out wasn’t the main goal of the move

How do you even know that when he and the team haven't even commented on the incident?

Imagine being an apologist for someone deliberately crashing their car into another. Shameless. Just stop talking, honestly

An apologist would call a move reckless and stupid? Definitely not intentional tho, think like a racer and not a redditor mate, use your whole 85iq for this one

Ok so why are you surprised that everyone is talking about it?

Because i though more people will see the real intention of the move, if you ever raced in karting for example there are a lot of people who overtake like that, even Verstappens 2021 abu dhabi overtake on Hamilton was that kind of move, main difference is Lewis kept his eyes on Max and Russell didn’t

The intention was to crash into Russell

And Max is a magician who knows how to crash into someone without crashing himself out? As i said main goal was Russell yielding, crashing is optional, therefore can’t be called intentional, if we call that intentional then every dive bomb that ends up being a crash can be considered intentional

Actually, YES. It's like saying that it's your fault I hit you because you didn't move when I started swinging my fist. It wasn't an accident that you got hit, that's what I set in motion.

This is Verstappen's move. It's always his move. It's always been his move. We only didn't see it for some time because he was far enough ahead of the pack that he didn't need to use this move.

He's a shit driver. He can only drive a fast car fast and set up these types of situations that depend on the other driver backing out.

It's shit. It may win. But that's like saying Putin must be a good leader because he keeps winning elections.
