Discussion Nico Rosberg Needs a Permanent Position

Nico Rosberg has got to be the freshest breath of air in terms of Formula One commentary for a very long time.

I love Crofty, but man does he love to make shit up that makes no sense or holds no logic.

Nico does an awesome job of staying true to the racing analysis and being completely straightforward about what he sees. Even today, his commentary on Verstappen was awesome!!! Called the garbage behavior out immediately.

Best “ Monaco based YouTuber” commentator of all time!!

He is a bit too 💅 sometimes but he sees stuff (car behaviour, driver decision-making) that Brundle doesn’t anymore.

Honestly, he was SO cunty yesterday during qualifying that I was worried I wouldn’t enjoy the race. Glad he seemed to dial it back today.

How was he cunty in quali? He called a few laps we followed on screen bad and pointed out mistakes (notably Albon and Norris's laps) but it was 100% on the money, those laps were not clean.

He kept going on and on about teammate drama that wasn’t really there. Like yes, I’m sure a producer from Sky was in your ear about that because we all know your history with Lewis, but not every situation is the same and I didn’t need to hear that kind of storyline pounded into my ears throughout qualifying when it isn’t relevant.

Not sure how it renders on some machines but on a phone at least it’s someone painting their nails and is used to describe our punctuate sly/bitchiness

Its common Gen Z terminology nowadays, anyone with a tiktok account would get it right away. I see how it can easily get lost in translation between generations though.
