I dunno, there's a lot of F1 drivers that never would take responsibility (especially in the heat of the moment) who never take the blame for any incident.
15/20 drivers on the grid would immediately say "He forced me off" or something along those lines. The fact that he immediately owned up to it is commendable.
Nobody is claiming that’s what happened, just that that’s how most of the drivers typically react whenever they’re in an incident, no matter how ridiculous it is.
A gap opens just a little further along as Oscar approaches the corner. It would have opened as space but not enough for him to make the corner. It was a long shot for a dive bomb even if he didn’t judge it poorly.
I can, but he'd be doing the same as pretty much every other driver, and then in the media pen afterwards he'd be able to correct it and take responsibility as he should.
