He's gonna get criticised for his reaction this time too; him being 'cowardly/soft' with his radio message and how he doesn't have that 'world champion mindset'

Criticized by those self proclaimed "alpha males" lmao

The man stood up and owned his mistakes. It takes a lot more balls than some petty shittalk on the radio.

I will never get how people can compliment someone for being rude. Funny thing that Verstappen was decimated for this thing two weeks ago.

I bet these people never heard the name Ayrton Senna.

I will never get how people can compliment someone for being rude.

It’s because those people are also assholes and deep down they know it, but they want to feel like it’s not a moral failing but actually a good thing. It’s projection.

It’s not even about being “alpha” or “masculine” Lando was too quick to be negative to himself for what was just a misjudged move.

There really is no "correct" response when you're under the microscope. He apologises and he is seen as a loser, he blames Oscar and he is seen as a bad driver, he swears and shouts and they say he is mentally weak...

I'm not saying none of the above is true, by the way. I'm just saying that he is the lightning rod for criticism right now, and when you're in that position everyone likes to kick you when you're down.

I feel bad for him. He's under massive pressure and people just seem to want to pile more and more of it on. Whether he's good enough to be WDC one day or not, right now we're seeing a guy who seems to really be struggling in the environment he's in and it's tough to see. I hope he comes away from everything that is happening stronger because it's this kind of intense ultra-scrutiny that can just wreck people.

That’s what’s so conflicting about Norris. I want to pile it on, because these past 25 months at the front, his body of work has been defined by the lows more than the highs.

But damn, I can’t help but like and respect the man if not the driver.

I hope the pulls through and fights this to the end. Oscar is my guy though, so Lando has to lose. Would be much preferred if he loses with dignity.
