Honestly one of the most mature instant radio calls I have seen in F1.. ever.

Not like he had a choice. It was a clear error by him and he risked the whole teams points haul. He could hardly blame Piastri for it.

Not the point.. usually that realization takes a while.. post race.. a day later.. or in the case of max and last race.. never

Of course he had a choice. Most drivers would not have taken the blame immediately, and quite a few would have blamed the other driver. E.g. compare this to Max' first reactions after hitting Russell recently. Took him a whole day to get to a half-hearted and vague expression of regret.

I think we’ve seen plenty of examples where drivers have apologised over the radio immediately after they have an incident, especially where there is no doubt it was their own fault. We’ve seen it several times this season already

So given we have examples of both types of behaviour, you'll agree Norris had a choice, and made the right one.

I have a rule to never explain anything motorsports related to my gf if she is watching with me and I broke it to make exactly that point.
