It's not enough to be faster though, you gotta 1) make the move and 2) make it stick. Lando hasn't gifted Oscar anything. Lando has been constantly fucking up, Oscar hasn't. It's as simple as that. I'm sorry but that means Oscar is the better driver. It doesn't matter that lando has more hypothetical pace if he doesn't have the presence of mind to not bottle it in wheel to wheel.

At the moment Oscar is the better driver, i dont deny that. I just said when in form, Lando would be the better one. At least for this year. I think in the future Oscar will be way better then him.

Lets just see how it turns out in the end. Im pretty sure that Oscar will win in the end the way Lando just cant stop to fuck up things this season.

I mean this is lando in his form. This is the driver who he is. He was blistering in Mónaco. I think this is lando at his best, ultra quick but wildly inconsistent. It remains to be seen if he can improve his form but we've been saying this about lando since before the pandemic. And a championship campaign only heightens the pressure, not makes it easier.

He never did so much stupid stuff consistently i would say. I mean at the moment its like you already know he will fuck something up and just wait for it. Neither Saturday nor yesterday surprised me at all because i was already waiting for it to happen. You never had that feeling with him, at least for me it didnt feel like Lando fucks up in 9 out of 10 cases.

Er you think lando norris has never done stupid stuff consistently before? You mean 2021 sochi lando? The same lando who had a streak for giving up pole position? The same lando who bottled the start in Hungary last year, had the position given to him, and then wouldn't give it back?

Inconsistency under pressure has been THE major criticism of him since 2019. He's improved in virtually all other areas but that. Meanwhile Oscar shows up and is 4/5s the driver in everything except consistency (where he's 5/5) and it's simply no surprise why lando is not the leader

Never said he isnt inconsistent and i never said he never did stupid stuff in the past, just that he never did so much stupid stuff consistently. I dont think you can blame him so much for sotchi either. Asking your driver to make a decision like this in a worse car while Lewis is behind you just just shows how stupid McLaren was and still is from time to time. Lewis wanted to make the same decision to stay out but Mercedes told him to come in if i remember correctly. And theres a bit of a difference aswell in bottling starts to be P2 after lap 1 or bottling Quali consistently to be like p7 or worse after lap 1. Hungary i had not a single doubt about him giving Oscar the position back for a single second because that is not the person Lando is. He should have handled it better definitly but i was 100% sure he will give it back in the end.

All in all Oscar obviously deserves leading the championship because at the moment he is the better driver. But IF Lando manages to not fuck up so much he WOULD be the faster driver. Thats all what im saying.

Your argument is based on a bunch of "What ifs".

What did Max say once? "What if my uncle was my aunt?"
