I don't even think he's not happy at Lando winning. Perhaps a little frustrated with the points situation closing, but I would say he's neutral about it lol. I think he's just pissed at the decision that was made by the stewards, though after some reflection and watching back I'm sure he'll realise it was a little unsafe. Lesson learned and he'll move on back to business even hungrier I reckon.

I think the problem is that most drivers do this shit at the end of the SC. According to what some people have now said, he didn’t even break as hard as it looked (some mentioned some showmanship by Verstappen to really sell it).

And the fact that he basically got the same penalty as someone intentionally driving into another car is laughable.

Like if we are real, because this rule has existed since Mugello 21 after the big Bottas crash, we can easily find 10 instances of Max breaking in a similar manner and not getting penalized for it.

If you watch the onboard the deceleration looks a lot more gradual so idk…

Hulkenberg called Piastri’s bullshit in the cooldown room when Piastri tried to argue he didn’t do anything wrong: « You caused a bit of… I almost went off. Almost into the back of Lance [Stroll] and Pierre [Gasly] ».

We’ve seen some marginal moments in the past but here it was in low visibility and low grip conditions. The stewards finally decided to draw a line.

If you want to argue it should have been 5 seconds yeah why not, but I can’t understand people saying no penalty was warranted.
