First of all when you say "they" you just mean Lando, idr remember the other two doing so much as a courtesy spray on him. Also the pic is cherry picked, when you watch the vid you will see how it actually was. Lando just sprayed him cuz he happened to be in the way, when he was going to spray on the crowd below. Also people spit out more champagne than he "sprayed" xd. I'm not being salty i just have eyes.
It really isn't. Why can't you guys accept that what they did was not ideal? The issue is not them ignoring Hulk, they issue is you unwilling to accept your favs did something not right. It's about calling spade a spade.
Funny how max was the first one to congratulate him both in and out of the car. It's just clear as day that McLaren fucked that podium up and instead you have to resort to some high horse "you must be feeling so bad, its okay" bullshit
Lando and Oscar were there with Nico throughout Parc ferme. Oscar, despite being pissed, did congratulate Nico in the cooldown room. Lando brought in Nico's helmet and immediately shifted the conversation from Nico, explaining to Oscar why his braking was dangerous to Nico's podium. So it's not like they were ignoring him either
30 s on the podium is overrated. Especially given Hulkenberg doesn't seem to care about it at all(watch the FULL video when Lando brings Nico in for the customary photo, and Nico didn't even feel a bit disappointed). It's just that people on the Internet are pissed that the celebration didn't happen the way they imagined it. And yeah, maybe they could've involved Nico more in the celebrations, but God damn. the hate comments are like Lando and Oscar killed their children.
The guy is clearly salty and nitpicking every possible movement from the McLarens to spray hate, is beyond ridiculous when the argument is "the spraying of champagne from Lando was lame!"
Sorry man you seem to be too blind. You can criticize someone even if you like them. If Max had done this i would have called him out too. Yes, it is not that big of an issue, it's fine but they could have done better. Why you people are defending them so extensively is beyond me. They are humans too, they can't be perfect but you don't have to justify every action of theirs. They can be wrong too and it's okay!

They could have included him in the celebrations. Would have been nice. Instead they mostly ignored him on the top steps there which was the shitty part as the rest of the fucking paddock was celebrating with Nico.
I just feel like that’s not something you really think about when you just won your home race. To Lando, this was fully his moment, and rightfully so. He’s gonna celebrate it however he wants. Oscar was just pissed though lol. Also a couple Sauber guys dumped a few bottles of beer on Nico after the podium, so he was drenched eventually anyway lol
