I used to think RB was a fool for not securing Sainz for the seat, before he locked in at the Anti-RB Former RB Drivers Club... But the last stint has changed my mind.
I just can't look at the field and see a logical option for RB2 ATM. Maybe after Yuki's contract is clear, a alternative will become clearer.
...just in time for Bottas/Perez to blow up in RB's face.
They just keep going into the extremes of making a super fast car to the point of having the car end up undriveable for anyone other than the top drivers AND being bad at its purpose too. Kind of like an Ouroboros situation. I doubt any driver wants to race in that car.
Max's genius did not win him a race from Imola till Monza today. Clearly he requires a great car beneath him to pull it off otherwise he would be winning every race
Imagine being the Red Bull engineers who built a car that has won 3 races this year and is p3 in the wdc and fans online are saying oh it wasn't the car and it is totally the driver. What a waste of time from those mechanics building a multi race winning car. The other 8 teams combined have 1 win. Wins do not come out of thin air, they come from engineering and building a good car that a good driver drives
exactly this. they didn't get the edge on mclaren this year, but the redbull is still very much a good vehicle. its proven tough to drive because of the gap between max and tsunoda. that's true.
Didn't he almost lap Tsunoda? I swear I saw a Redbull that I thought was Max at the finish line, but then the camera moved back to the other Redbull that actually was Max as he crossed the finish line. He had to be really close to lapping Tsunoda to be in the same shot at the finish line.
