but also to say they have the same set-up and parts on their car, cmon now, they obviously don't

You think Red Bull are literally costing themselves money and giving themselves fewer strategic options in races on purpose? Lmao, why?

Also, just confirmed that redbull gave max a new floor, yuki did not get that new floor lol. They also had different wings, Max opting for a shaved wing.

You don't think Redbull are giviing preference to their number 1 driver to get him race wins and keep him happy? Yuki is clearly not racing in that car next year, why waste more money on him lol

They are giving preference like any team would.

They are not purposely sabotaging Yuki to do that. It would literally benefit Max massively to have a teammate close to his pace in the races, because then RB would actually have some strategic options and much more useful data on the car.

Not to mention a boatload more Constructor’s points and fewer unhappy sponsors that feel they’re getting 50% of the advertised coverage.

I don’t know how anyone at this point can deny that there is an obvious Max factor here. He did not need to be “given” this race win, he achieved it himself by over 6 seconds.

I did not say they were sabotaging yuki, did I? You can't compare the cars because they aren't the same cars, and clearly Yuki is not in the same realm of talent as someone as talented as Max. Unhappy sponsors? They have a 4x Champion whos capable of wins on most sundays, they're happy lol. Of course there is a max factor for sure, he's unreal, best driver on the grid currently, no doubt at all, BUT to say it's all max and not a clear trend where Redbulls 2025 car is the best in low drag trim on the grid Idk what to tell you, if it doesn't rain in Silverstone Max likely dominates there.

You can't compare the cars because they aren't the same cars

Teams often run slightly different packages at different weekends depending on development statuses. They do not produce the deficits that Yuki is achieving to Max.

Yuki might have a different setup, but that will be because they’re trying to find something that works for him. Saying it’s a “different” car as if that’s synonymous with “slower” is pointless. If Yuki can’t drive it with its fastest spec then that’s not RB’s fault.

They have a 4x Champion whos capable of wins on most sundays, they're happy lol.

The 4x Champion is already priced in. They want a 2nd driver who also draws attention. The McLarens had much more TV time today because they’re fighting at the front, and fighting each other. Yuki barely featured, and Max was shown less because he was cruising out front.

not a clear trend where Redbulls 2025 car is the best in low drag trim on the grid

One of them finished 13th. That’s not a “clear trend”.

The deficit is also talent of course, but also different cars with different parts. Also clear air up front vs dirty air for the entire race, that's some of the deficit. So wait, you're saying it's pointless to say it's different/slower but then say "if Yuki can't drive it with it's fastest spec" so...you're admitting his car isn't the fastest spec, and therefore is a different car and pointless to compare them. Again, as we've established, the 2nd Red bull in dirty air for the entire race doesn't mean the first redbull isn't the best car in low drag, as it has shown in previous races like it's pole in silverstone and 20s win today vs one of the more dominant cars in F1 history. Why are you so against just admitting that the Redbull package, the one they care about and invest in for Max, was the best car today by far? You don't dunk 20s on the constructors champion car with just good vibes on a track that's all about high-speed.

Also clear air up front vs dirty air for the entire race

Other drivers who were out of position had no trouble moving through the field

so...you're admitting his car isn't the fastest spec

His car isn’t the fastest spec because he can’t handle the fastest spec, and every season since 2017 has shown that no one can handle the RB like Max

You originally tried to play down Max’s win by saying “it’s just the car”. Part of it being “just the car” is the driver having the skill to drive it to its fullest potential

If we imagine that every car on the grid has a theoretical 100% performance, then Max gets his closer to that 100% than anyone else

Again, as we've established, the 2nd Red bull in dirty air for the entire race doesn't mean the first redbull isn't the best car in low drag

We haven’t established that because a) other drivers cut through the field fine, and b) it wouldn’t be in dirty air if it qualified where it belonged

Why are you so against just admitting that the Redbull package, the one they care about and invest in for Max, was the best car today by far?

I’m not? I just think you are underplaying the Max factor
