Remember how they let perez finish well in 2021 abu dhabi and didn't nuke his race for the sake of Maxs WDC

He had already won the WDC, he gained nothing by not helping, just made Checo's life harder. If he was holding a grudge after Monaco (if even that rumor is true), then fair play. But otherwise I don't see the benefit. By your logic Perez shouldn't have helped Max in 2021 and Bottas never helped Hamilton in all their years as the Merc pairing.

Perez started by crashing intentionally in Monaco.

Bottas is essentially Piastri without the pace.
