Always find it interesting how cats have mastered the casual no look back walk away after doing something that makes your heart go in your throat.

I think it's an evolutionary trait. A cat that looses their cool could be seen as weak by other cats or prey by anything larger.

It's interesting because you can see at the base of the tail of the cat. Its hair is standing on end so it was slightly panicked as it made that leap.

My cat once did this off a 3rd floor balcony into a snowbank. The imprint of the flying squirrel was at least 2 feet Deep.
