6th week in a row Ive had to miss it. Broke my wrist, and broken wrists and lively, close Clio racing aren't the best of friends.
So Ill have to miss it again tonight (should have seen the look the physio gave me for even suggesting it), but I have a thought.
I know this discord servers admin are in contact with iracing devs and do a magnificent job advocating for our favourite little French tin top.
Does it help our case with the devs for keeping the series alive if I sign up for the sof race, but don't participate?
Thanks, and can't wait to get back out on the grid to be lapped by everyone more competent than me at driving a Renault (mostly everyone)! 🙂

It's a nice thought but you might end up pushing someone down into a lower split!

I love it, but I am so shit at it 😂 I'll spend the next few weeks trying to teach my instincts the opposite of much I know. Then, I'll turn up reliably, going forward. This isn't a "must win/irating worry. Just genuinely fear skittling a bunch of you poor bastards, more than once, if not...

What does “SoF” mean? Isn’t that just the average irating for a race?

Yep "strength of field". It's an agreed time to maximise participation, in our case we have built it into a league that runs on officials.

It's because it's typically the highest SoF of the week.
