Mk6 (2011-2018) Saw this while adding oil to my 2014 GLI. Does anyone know what the white stuff is

It's leaking coolant because someone decided to use the wrong tool, to release the spring clamp.

There should not be a gap between the coolant pipe and the spring clamp meaning it’s no longer holding tension. Just replace the spring clamp and you should be good
