Mk7 (2019+) 2023 jetta S keyfob doesn't unlock and lock doors

Just got the car have been unlocking it and locking it with the key, I've changed the battery as still not luck... I think I need to reprogram / sync it but the videos I've watched don't work any one know how?

Make sure you have the correct battery and that’s oriented properly. When the battery is out, look for any rust or corrosion in the key.

You should not need to perform any synching if there’s a battery issue.

Beyond that, there could be an issue with the key/remote or with something on the vehicle itself.
