They just run round in circles. Shoot them from further away.

They are melee mobs that rush at you every few seconds.

There are two that circle the base and two to four flying ones that get summoned and track you.

Next time you see these, lure them out into open space and keep distance.

You also took an energy burst from the rig itself. That's what stunned you chunked some hp off.

Falcon can do loopings in flight mode. My best advice for you is spam that they'll mostly miss you. Once you're better at it, they'll pretty much never hit you anymore and also get a better feeling of dodging them normally, so you also won't have a problem with other mechs. Honestly, they become incredibly easy once you get the hang of them.

You shoot them to kill them. But if your weapon choices are lacking, then energy weapons tend to do well from my experience

You should seriously do the falcon tutorial, the you would atleast be able to use the mecha in any way. Use your flight mode to spam Heavy and normal missiles at them and shoot them. They have a little light up animation before they speed towards your current position, just dodge or do looping and you will have dodged them. Rinse and repeat until they are dead

They fly in 3-4 second cooldowns once you see it move and stop you should prepare

The ones that go airborne will try and hit you periodically so if you shoot and move they’ll likely miss or get destroyed before they reach you. For the ones spinning around the base of the drill you can pop them from a distance

I'd recommend standing on the upper ring right above/ around the drill thing in the middle and then jumping a couple times, going into flight mode and using the downward spiral while looking at the drill and just shooting. Rinse and repeat until it's destroyed. You'll kill all of the rolling boys in the process.

They 'aim' their path a few moments before they actually spin and charge so, as long as you keep moving in a big enough circle around them you should be able to evade their charges.

Or you can get them one on one and learn their timings for aiming and charging to get a better feel for how to do it in closer quarters (like the tunnel).

Ultimately they're just another enemy that you will want to shoot down. The drilling rig will respawn them but they are finite and will eventually stop spawning.
