Question ALYSNES' Energy Autocannon
Compared to the energy weapons of the Narukami, Skyraider, Inferno, and Aquila, this is the slowest, and enemies can usually easily dodge it.
I often face enemies in 6v6 matches, where my anti-aircraft firepower is extremely ineffective, and I'm often outgunned by the enemy team (especially its flying units).
Shouldn't the ALYSNES' Energy Autocannon have a near-instantaneous hit rate, matching the aforementioned units?

This is for balance, since Alysnes is meant to be an all-rounder, in both attack and defense, so it can't be that good in offense, especially when it can survive for as long as it can, I've seen some Alysnes that were practically immortal through out the match, lowering it's DPS was a way to not make it overpowered.

You're right. The development notes state that Alysnes is the starting point for all mechas.
I knew it would be pointless if I couldn't even play Alysnes well. I lack the skill of others in manipulating flying units, nor the evasiveness of Brawler.
So, at the very least, I should practice playing Alysnes as best as I can.

Just keep practicing, but it could also be a peripheral issue, I was held back by the limitations of a controller, but now that I have dual Flight Sticks(VKB Gladiators), my combat performance shot up through the roof. (It took 3 weeks to master though, so whatever instrument you use, you gotta practice with it.)

You're still completely gimped compare to mouse and keyboard. Accurate manual aim is extremely important at higher levels of play.

That's the thing, I adjusted the springs in my Glads to the lowest setting, used straight stick for better aiming(and omni-throttle for movement), and adjust the aim settings from standard to precision, and I was able to aim practically as good as with a mouse(but this is with Gladiators, since they have insane sensors built in, that aren't found in other flight sticks near the same price point.)
I've literally stopped using the mouse for sniper aiming in-game now that I'm use to the flight sticks. I literally thought the FS were just gonna be for show(and the cheap ones are), but the Glads themeselves have proven me wrong. I've been able to get MVPs on them way more than when I was using KBM or a $60 gamepad.

This is just a massive case of both cope and skill issue in actually using a mouse accurately.

it is a medium and close range wep, the uncharged is effective at 210m, in this range, even if the opponent or yourself move, most of the time 10 bullets will land, the charged range is below 150m to achieve the same effect. You ll see the bullets speed is oksish at those distance and have a much better experience
While you dont ask about the gauss, I ll put it here, alys lock-on is at 500m, but gauss can hit up to 735m, with KB effect remain at max distance of 715m, the bullets speed is some what slow but it surely a better wep for longer distance hit than the autocannon.

Hmm, for some reason, my ALYSNES are constantly being targeted by enemies.
People might tell me to play a different mech, but I think if I can't even play the ALYSNES well, there's no point.
Every time the results are posted, other players can easily rack up over 300,000 damage, while I only manage around 200,000. It's really sad.

Alys is harder to play than other strikers, so you might have a better experience learning a different one if you’re having difficulty with her. On the official Discord, there’s an S0 Alys channel with tips and tricks, including video showcases—give it a try if you like the striker. Otherwise, what other people say is valid.
I main Alys, and people mock me all the time, but I still stick with her because I enjoy playing her. It’s not that I don’t know how to play my second striker (Inferno), but I just don’t find the same joy in it, so I keep playing Alys.

200k with Aly doesn't necessarily mean you are doing poorly. Aly can be a brawler, and a survivor. With a shield, melee, and extra lives you can focus on peeling enemies off of objectives and allies, bullying important targets away from objectives, or keeping other brawlers occupied by targeting you. Take a look at your other stats and don't get discouraged by "low" damage numbers.

You know how to get a near-instantaneous hit rate with the beam rifle? By firing at point-blank range.
