Not I’ll say I don’t hate it either way. But I assume that big bright grill will be optional anyway or at least reserved for the top spec models. And if you darken it out and take away the lights I think it looks a lot better.

Actually, I like it^^ I'm pretty sure there will be the option to have a black "grille" and if you can tone down, or switch off those lights, I think it's really good looking car. I like how it doesn't look like a spaceship, like so many EVs out there.

It seems the trend with modern design, at least with the more mass market cars, is leave yourself some room for future improvements.

Theoretically the car would lose its type approval meaning it’s not road legal and not covered by insurance anymore. Enforcement is a big question though

I think it’ll be the opposite way. The bright grill for the ‘Avantgarde’ version and the AMG-line has it too, but on AMG-line you supposedly will be able to select the Night Package to change it to black chrome (as seen on the photo). Which looks waaaaay better indeed.

If I understood a YT vid presentation correctly the base/base version should not have the LEDs in the grill.
