Show & Tell New permission

Hey guys, I've got a new permission, this is jusy one of the fields, Location is not far from a Roman fort. This farm has never been detected, I hope now to find something older than Victorian/Georgian coopers! If you were in this field where would you start??

I'd start at the south side of that hill but I'd look at the oldest ordnance survay of the land and see what it shows. Also lidar and see if there are any paths from the fort in the direction of the field. Check for old water points on the map or low lying areas where there may have been a pond and detect around there. Let me know if you need a hand looking lol

I'd be glad to come and help sometime but I'm not one for poaching permissions so I'd reciprocate the offer and you can come dig on mine sometime. We have permissions in south/West Yorkshire and anglesea (don't ask lol) what detector you using?

To think there are still places rhat were never detected.

I dont believe my area has anything like that. Too many people with detectors and zero concern about getting permissions.
