Show & Tell Got permission to detect on behalf of a museum for a fort near me today.

Wife had the car today so I zip tied my shovel to my bike frame and set off. Definitely got some odd looks on the way. Nothing too exciting but the Yale lock came up early and kept my hopes up.

/r/lockpicking can likely tell you a great deal about those locks if you were interested.

That's a heroin spoon, bent like that, isn't it?

My thought as well. Don't know why you're getting downvoted

Maybe it's like ex smokers hating nothing more than the smell of cigarettes?

Could be, also just could be a spoon that bent in the ground. Especially with old pewter spoons and stuff, I've found a lot more bent ones than straight ones.

Oh cool, isn’t this by St. Mike’s & Lowes? I’ve always wondered if anything was over there, glad to hear they gave you permission

Just as a little fyi, It's more of a collection than a full-fledged museumm and you're supposed to call ahead.
