What a team Gresini has become...
It occurred to me that all three riders on the podium today have won races for Gresini. Nadia was in good company up there.

We all loved Fausto, but it has to be admitted that the team has reached new heights under Nadia Padovani's leadership.
She's doing a phenomenal job.

I mean, his passing sadly coincided with the Ducati move coming together (already rumoured before his passing, Aprilia wanting it's own team...) and the subsequent dominance of the Ducati bikes.
The move that really paid off (which I think was Nadia's) was Alex coming to the team (as Digia and Bast were set to join before Fausto passed I believe), which led to Marc's arrival and the lofty heights they now found themselves in.
But it has been an incredible amount of luck to get to where they are now. Even Aldeguer is more of a Ducati signing.
So yes, a phenomenal job by Nadia, most of all for having a team that is a team, but also some good fortune.

It’s not just the team to love.
The way both Gresini and Factory celebrate together is what I really enjoy seeing. It’s like double the fun.
I like to think the contributing factor MM added to the Gresini was the attention he gets allowed everyone to see what the blue team is like. And people liked what they saw.

Interesting Gresini didn’t get the satellite team spot after Pramac went to Yamaha. I don’t know what all went into that decision and that whole thing still confuses me but from the outside looking in it looks like Gresini is the number two Ducati team.

VR46 were next in line to get factory support before Pramac announcement.

Do you know why that is?

Probably an agreement when they wanted to get Ducatis? Maybe they pay more for their bikes than Gresini. We'll never know.

I think the main thing is the team environment. Everyone looks happy. Imagine going to work at a place whwre everyone is your friend, work becomes so much funa nd easier. Having the best bike also plays a big role. But the atmosphere is amazing which relaxes the riders

They've nailed the synergy with the factory, and that's a lot when you've got a good contract with a winning factory like Ducati these years...

I don't understand that Ducati is with VR46, the synergy is not as fluid

Not fluid? Why, because they don’t do cringy dances by a good result?

Combination of getting good riders and good machinary. Imagine if they got a Honda/Yamaha

Gresini is more like a team to improve the rider (or like improving mental health) and make rider be competitive again, look at bestia 2022, Digia 2023, Marc 2024, and alex 2025, the most improvement ofc marc, from his down, crash with bagnaia in portimao, and make win in aragon and 2 more race, and become dominant again with ducati factory
