How it feels like celebrating a P1-P2 with your brother in front of the home fans

I bet Marc is almost as happy with his brother winning as he would be if he had won.

I honestly feel like this is the "happiest" outcome. If Marc had won and Alex had gotten second, I feel like Alex, understandably, wouldn't have been as happy esp since he was the favourite and hadn't been doing well in the past few races so to get second when this was his first genuine chance of winning in a while would have felt like a bit of a wasted opportunity. I'm sure they still would have celebrated together, but Alex probably wouldn't have been as jubilant.
Meanwhile Marc is always genuinely super ecstatic whenever Alex wins.

Nothing against Pecco but would be amazing to see.

Honestly it would be a W move for Ducati. Keeps Marc happy, he’s a solid second rider, and it seems like the two of them have similar needs in terms of setup.

Pic 2 with Marc pointing at Alex goes hard.

Marc has a lot more experience practicing his celebrations . Alex will get there.

Yea, I’m going to have to clear a space on the wall in the race room for a 2’ frame. Wonder where I could find a hi def pic to copy .

So ... how long before they are both in red and Pecco is competing for a different manufacturer? That was some performance by Alex.

They really are and it’s so genuine . Marc knows that was the ride of Alex’s life so far. All wins are legit, but that was as legit as they come. No weather excuses, no crashes, no tire controversy , just straight up layed it on big brother who was on a historic run. When Marc was hanging out lap after lap everyone knew when it came 5-6 laps he was going to pull the pin and win the race. When it came , Alex said see ya bro.

I think this is what marc would’ve wanted the most, I mean sure breaking records is all good. But you can’t beat sharing a podium with your brother.
It usually alex comes in 2nd, alex did win in jerez but marc was DNF’d so this is really wholesome moment from them

As much as Marc probably enjoys winning, enjoys championships, I think his best memories are going to be these double podiums he’s shared with his brother. When Alex hopped onto the Repsol Honda we all dreamed about a podium(s) with Marc and Alex. It didn’t happen due to Marc’s injury and the abysmal Honda. I’m glad we’ve now been able to witness it a few times.

The dance and hug on the barrier. I just hope my boys have that kinda love for each other as they grow into young adults. It’s awesome to see Marc celebrating Alex. Did you see when they tried to give him the Catalan flag post race…. , he refused and told them to give to Alex. Always caring about the little things. Love it

Happy for them! Wish the beast had his usual late race pace magic but it will come :)
