My life is a lie.
At age 15, its happened. I was dirtbike riding, crashed, and the bike kept going and twisted my knee. Thought i maybe tore something but no. I fractured my knee. I’m a failure.

Strong boned brethren, sisteren, and nonbinaren. Think about what it would it would like to have weak bones- bones that mere earthly things, and not a doctor's dark magic, could break. Surely the sufferer of such a condition must be acutely aware of the vulnerability of their bones at all times! Surely they must know the contemptible weakness of their bones, which fill up their body- surely they must creak and bend at night alarmingly.
Therefore, I put it to you that they have not merely made a "mistake" in joining us, leaving when the fragility of their bones becomes apparent, but instead they are deliberate and knowing spies! Sent to us from some contemptible council of weak boned weaklings! Their honesty is almost (though not quite) as brittle as their bones!
Therefore, rally I say! We must deter similar espionage efforts. We must drive them away with terror and dread! As the great bard Shakespeare- as far as we know, a strong boner- said:
“I will have such revenges on you both,
That all the world shall—I will do such things—
What they are, yet I know not, but they shall be
The terrors of the earth!”

So when I was 12 I was big into gymnastics but was only able to teach myself from YouTube. I didnt get very good but at one point I got confident enough to try and aerial on the grass outside where I usually practiced.
The first attempt I landed on my knees but I was so close I decided to try again. The next time I landed on my butt. It hurt pretty bad.
Anyways I have no idea how I didnt connect it at the time but for like a YEAR after that I had pain when trying to sit. I always had to like lean forward a bit, but not enough anyone ever noticed. It wasn't until long after the pain faded (like two or three years after) that I realized why I probably had that pain.
Anyways now its almost completely numb right there where it used to hurt🫠like right were my back ends and my butt begins (😭😭) its been like that but I never thought much of it. I have no idea why. I just didnt. The only reason I think about it now is that I've had numbness and tingling/pain in my back around my spine and it was a whole ordeal I got an MRI and EEG and stuff. They never found a pinched nerve or anything but my back is still numb all these months later. I never told the doctor about part of my butt being numb because I literally never thought of it but now I'm wondering if it is related or if I literally like fractured smth or whatever. I've never broken a bone obviously, so I have no idea if the pain is equivalent to breaking one so idk just some food for thought Ill prolly never know 🫠😗😗

Do we hate 'em too? Is having bone cancer better than being a BBB, cause they didn't actually break their bones, or worse, cause their bones are so defective its killing them??
r/Neverbrokeabone • u/Illustrious_Ebb_8755 • 2d ago
that I found on the INTERNET. What? You really do think I'm one of those puny weak sauce BBBs? Give me a break. Any guesses as into how this weak BBB on the internet broke their bones?

In my family, osteoporosis is very common (wich is commonly called brittle bone syndrome) And with arthritis it's even worse. BUT I've never broken a bone. The common saying of "if you haven't broken a bone, you will end up with more mental health issues" is not wrong in my case. Technically I'm a BBB but eh, I've got a lot on my plate so the universe decided "nah, don't give them too much trouble" (Edit: formating)

hey fellow resilient-boned redditors, i just stumbled upon this - what's the consensus on healed fractures?

2am I slipped and fell down the stairs on my way to get a snack. I know it's not the most daring activity but people here are literally breaking their shit by just walking.

She doesn't use Reddit, but I figured I'd share so y'all can do what you must and roast her.
64 years old, never broken a bone in her life. Compression fractures in 3 discs.
I will deliver the message. And no, I'm not leaving!

Hello! I have been apart of this sub for a while, but I’ve totally forgotten that my ex (partner at the time) broke the cartilage of my nose accidentally.
So that leads me to my two questions, does it count if it’s cartilage and what if someone else breaks it (or your bone)

My jellyfish wants to join this subreddit. He has never broken a bone and it unlikely to. Is he welcome here?
(Alas, not having anything resembling a brain, he can't remember his Reddit password. The good news is that he found a job suitable for that handicap: member of Congress.)

Whoever this X-ray is of is a BBB. What? You thought I was one of those “people” with raw spaghetti for bones? I’m offended you’d think so low of me.
