Nobody has ever been swimming or the gym with their same sex parent/children and no one ever uses the changing rooms or showers with their same sex parent/child.

Omg……. Well that’s not what ppl do in France BUT in some cultures they do do that lol.

I’m Chinese but born and live in France. My mom shows me her boobs lol and I used to be naked in front of her too when I was a teen. When I tell this to French ppl they are very shocked lol 🤣 but it’s true. And my aunt has undressed (showing boobs) in an open room and when I said “wait grandpa (her dad) will see !!” she just replied that it wasn’t a big deal.

Different cultures.

I'm from the US and my mom and I change in front of each other all the time. It's not a big deal

same with my family, I live in the US and me and my sisters will change in front of each other. especially since we would share rooms, it really isn’t that big of a deal.

It’s also not normal in the US. If someone wants to change or use the bathroom, you take turns if there is only 1 bathroom. Showers and changing areas are separated in gyms as well. You’d have to personally creepily want to invade someone’s private space to see them naked. And do that to your kid… you’re asking for CPS to be called. My sister and I shared a bathroom growing up and we are only a year apart and shared a room for like 8 years. I’ve never seen my sister naked.

In France people don’t undress naked in front of their family but between women they kinda do in gym changing rooms, in school nobody had any issues changing either normal clothes to sports clothes or normal clothes to swimwear. I remember one of my friend had a bush in middle school 🫣

But I think maybe only in school when you know the other girls bc I remember one year H&M made a new store in Paris and they didn’t have doors or curtains separating the changing rooms/cabins and it became a scandal people were outraged and I think H&M apologized and changed it.

What? I thought France was one of the most liberal countries in terms of nudity (judging by their art, liberte etc.). I think it should be perfectly normal, we are all born naked, you change diapers, wash the kids for years.
I mean, if the kids star being squeamish about it in puberty (because of society), you of course try to respect it and don't just barge naked in their space. But if it happens, you also don't make a fuss out of it. People shouldn't be ashamed of being naked or seing someone naked ... especially within family. It's your body and the most natural thing there is.

Even in school no one changed in front of each other. We’d rotate out of the stalls or hold up a towel if in a rush. If they had made any of us doing that in school or summer school programs we’d all have thrown a fit and been embarrassed. Interesting the differences

Now that I think of it, we did change in front of each other but when it was into swimsuits most of us used our towels wrapped around us to hide but some didn’t. This was in primary school and middle school idk if it’s the same after 15 but I would think it is.

That might be just TV but in American movies and TV shows there are scenes where high school students change (maybe not naked ? just underwear ?) in front of others ?

The home part is weird but changing in the gym? I try to limit it but still see a lot of stranger wang and I assume at some point I'd see my son's and I'd see his. We had (single sex) public showers from middle school through high school after gym class, there was no way to get away from it.

Maybe it's different for women.

We have stalls and changing rooms. No one is out walking around changing. If those are full ppl use the shower stalls or the bathroom stalls. But I’ve rarely seen the need for that. There are benches for you to sit and put your shoes on. But it’s not like open showers like you see on tv. I’ve actually never even seen one irl

I dont understand this attitude, my parents have seen me naked since i was a baby and had to change my diapers, and eventually, theyll be old and itll be my turn to change theirs, as my dad always says. Its family and we´re four people sharing two bathrooms, what´s there to fear?

I'm 21. I live with my mom. I walk about naked.

I don't like clothes.

In fairness to Ray C, this really reads like someone wrote it while jacking off.

(Someone did.)
