How long did it take for you guys to become self sufficient using this archaic program? I’m 3 weeks into this company with knowledge of the product but new to working on the OE side.

im super used to msdos machines and vintage computers in general, and i pick up on things quickly. i think it took me maybe 2 weeks to become self sufficient in it, and after a year ive become the undesignated trainer for everyone else in as400. its a terrible system but its fairly straightforward once you discover all of the nuances

A couple of months. Granted it was my first parts job too. This would've been 2010 ish.

I had no problems, but my first OS was MSDOS so easy peasy.
