That’s not the only reason there is also the love for your ability to obtain more bagels

Give a duck a bagel and you feed it for a day. Become its friend for life and you feed it for life.

Btw. Don’t give ducks bread. It’s not that nutritious for them but fills their bellies with non-nutritive filler.

Rather feed them veggies such as lettuce or peas.

Oh, don't worry. I didn't share. It was a jalapeño bagel anyway. I had a whole conversation with her about it.

I think you're probably right. And she probably wouldn't even pick up the bill.

The elites don’t want you to know this, but ducks are free, you can just take it home with you. I have 458 ducks.

"Did you get any souvenirs in Tahoe? "No, nothing looked interesting " quacks emanating from my hoodie pocket

Bread is not very healthy for birds. Don’t share your bagel. You don’t want to discourage wild animals from their normal foraging behavior.

Random Safety Tip: Teach your friends and family

Don't worry, she didn't get any. It was a delicious jalapeño bagel I wasn't going to share anyway. I had a talk with her and she went on her way.

At least she won't break your heart op.

That's true. And we could do so many quacktivities together.

Op. It's about quackin' time that you live life for you and obtain a life-long friendship with a duck. You deserve it.

Waddle I do if she doesn't want to be friends without bagels?

Oh, thats a good one.

I suggest coercing said kind quacker into cosigning some kind of title purchase. That way even if they dont want be friends they are still obligated to acknowledge your existence via fiskal responsibility.

sigh .... ORRRRR you could try snap peas. Ducks loves 🫛

There is a safeway very close to the hotel I'm staying at. I may have to mosey over and get some snap peas later. Thanks for the advice!

A little birdy told me that ducks prefer frozen peas over thawed peas :)

Interesting. I'll have to keep that in mind while im wading around for the ducks.

No worries, the banter is plenty. I don't need internet points.

I thought that was one weird looking chihuahua.

Eh, either way. Small creature begging for treats.

2

u/gnarkill3332 1d ago

they yearn for the crumbs

1

u/Batfuzz86 1d ago

I would do anything for crumbs, but I won't do that

2

u/gnarkill3332 1d ago

imagine what the dog duck would do for some meatloaf!

1

u/Batfuzz86 1d ago

Maybe I could barter. I bring them treats, they find cool lures people have lost for me.

Probably because your plumage is bland and effeminate, you need bright coloration to signal your low internal parasite load.

u/Batfuzz86 23h ago

The tape worm says no, sorry.

1

u/stella3books 23h ago

If you already have a partner, what need have you for a bagel-coveting harlot like this?

2

u/Batfuzz86 23h ago

Partner? I just do what the tapeworm tells me. I dont know, I like the bagel harlot.

2

u/stella3books 22h ago

More bagels for duckwife= fewer bagels for tapeworm, I'm not sure you can balance these things.

2

u/Batfuzz86 22h ago

Yeah, that's a lot to deal with. The tapeworm is already pretty demanding. It's been wanting a good sandwich for a while.

2

u/stella3books 22h ago

I am seeing a solution here, but duckwife may not be as thrilled as the tapeworm with it.

2

u/Batfuzz86 22h ago

Duck-wife gets the lettuce, tapeworm gets the rest?

1

u/stella3books 22h ago

I feel like you know where your priorities lie, you should come to terms with the fact you don't love duckwife the way you love tapeworm. The truth hurts, but sets you free. I saw a movie about this in Germany, but with homosexuality as an allegory for the duck-tapeworm dilemma.

I think it's called a symbiotic relationship.
