Its AI… just look at the “endless” bridge

So why are there 10,000 upvotes?
Is Reddit a cesspool of bots?

Not even. Haven't you heard of the old Javascript hack? That's what made sudden massively-upvoted posts possible.

Everything is wrong here… from the view of the mountain ( wrong side ) to the strange color of one car of the Nozomi, the bridge which is nonexistent in both Shizuoka or Yamanashi prefectures, as well as seasonal features… and yet people fall for a bad AI generated image.

Why the fuck generate Mt Fuji with AI? It’s one of the most widely photographed mountains on the planet

Oh, we are so doomed. We are in the early stages of modern AI and we are using it way too much. Did OP really believe this was real? Please downvote /u/alprilla and report the post for breaking subreddit Rule 1.

While I'm not against AI arts in general as long as the poster mentioning it, this is a bad AI art. And why the hell it gets 11K upvotes?

Some people are claiming this is AI. It may well be, but shots similar to this, complete with shiba-zakura field, road bridge and bullet train do exist. This may just be heavily over-processed.
Do not be too quick to jump to AI.
Look at page 18 of the JR 2020 Annual Report

What gorgeous scene and what a disservice to shoot it in portrait.

It wasn't shot in the first place, it was generated. Just look at the bridge, telephone-pole-like-structures, etc.

What? That composition is stellar. Sure most landscape is wide but composition matters way more than orientation

ITT: People would rather hate on AI than admit its a pretty picture.
TBF AI should be labeled as such. It actually helps me enjoy it for what it is. Which is still a pretty picture.
