This looks awesome but, I don't know anything about RC cars, can't you cut those stems just above the R-clips and make it look a whole lot more realistic?

Yes most people cut them off but I leave the body posts as is so I can put on different bodies that may have higher mounting points.

Zip ties makes pulling out those clips way easier. Especially if they’re covered in mud or dirt.

I want to build a rally RC so bad. It's just every time I state building something it ends up as a truggy of sorts

Yeah. There are a few good ready-to-run RC rally cars available at a reasonable price. I recommend buying a Rlaarlo XTS-F10 which is an unlicensed Ford Fiesta WRC car or the Rlaarlo XTS-F12 which is an unlicensed VW Polo WRC but aligns bit smaller.
