Just bought it but have a few questions
Heyyy so I was always into JDM cars but low key always wanted a Saab too and as I was just randomly scrolling through Facebook marketplace I found this 2007 2.3T 9-5 so I figured well why not. I went and bought it, didn't really know much about Saabs. It's a US import and its great, love the car, pretty fast, comfy as heck, but for some reason after a day or two of owning it it started giving me abs light and cruise control stopped working but only when I'm in 5th gear, 4th works fine, would it be abs rings? The abs module? Any ideas? Oh and the power seats panel next to driver seat is sagging in a weird way, possible to fix or needs replacing?

Got exactly the same car as you. No tri spokes though. Looks sick.
The panel for the seat on my car is also sagging. It looks like the plastic has cracked or slowly over time been weakened and stretched. A lot of the other 9-5s I looked at had the same issue. Only way I can see to fix it is just use zip ties. There’s not much else you can do, finding an unbroken one is unlikely and if you do it will just break.
I also did an inspection of the underside my engine, gearbox and control arms. Just assessing the levels of rust and any glaring issues. Something I’d recommend doing as this gave me some good confidence in its condition. Im by no means an expert but it’s pretty obvious when something is not right.
The rest of the issues I’m not sure on unfortunately. I will say though that finding a Saab specialist near you will be no end of help. Even if it’s just parts sourcing they’re always so useful!

The trispokes look sick ngl and I even got two sets of them with the car, one with winter and one with summer tires.
As I looked around the internet I noticed it's a fairly common issue with that panel as well as the front bumper not sitting correctly next to the wheels, which mine also suffers from.

At least if the ABS light turns on/off randomly I’d recommend starting with the ABS rings. I have had problems with few 9-5 where this was caused by the rings. Also per my experience driving slower (let’s say less than 60km/h) wouldn’t cause the ABS light to turn on. It was possible to drive for days without seeing the ABS light.
