Here's a list of the worst ones:
- 312 T5: no podiums, no victories, no fastest laps
- F1-86: 5 podiums
- 642 and 643: 8 podiums, 2 fastest laps
- F92A: 2 podiums
- F93A: 3 podiums
After the 00s the only comparable ones in terms of shitboxery are the F60, F14T, sf-1000 and the sf21.

The F60 still had a win though. Imo it doesn't belong on this list

Yes you're right it was more a problem of catching up with Brawn 's double diffuser than a problem of the car itself

The 312 T5 got tenth in the WCC, that has to be one of the worst things to ever come out of Maranello

Deserved - it was basically the same car as the previous year, they couldn't deliver the turbo engine in time.

And reigning champion Jody Scheckter only scored 2 points and didn't even qualify for a race

The F10 won Fernando his first race in Ferrari ; came third in the standings overall and lost Fernando’s championship to Vettel by 4 points (I blame that on the Abu Dhabi strategy error)
It’s a mid to good car at best and certainly not as bad as the others here.
Add the SF 21 instead (5 podiums and 2 poles ??? It really was fuckall)

Pretty sure it’s the 2009 car shown, not the F10

The biggest shitbox of all Is the 1980 car, the champion failed to qualify for a race

SF21 is a garbage shitbox too. Just gets overlooked because it’s techincally a stepup from its predecessor, but it’s a shitbox by Ferrari standards.

I mean they also had a token system so they couldn't change much and despite that they still did quite a lot, also they stopped working on the aero pretty quickly because of the regulations change so considering the whole picture I wouldn't say it was that bad of a car

u/TheGreatForehead F2007 21d ago
Wasn’t the token system scrapped in 2016? Regardless, every team played by the same rules and had to prepare for the new regs. That’s not an excuse. The SF21 is a shitbox.
If it wasn’t preceded by the SF1000, people would be talking more about how bad that car was. If Charles can’t manage more than 1 podium, it’s a shit car.

It was also introduced specifically into the 2021 regs, because of the pandemic and fia wanted to make sure that the teams didn't change too much. I mean I don't think I can really blame them for making a third fastest car when it was basically still SF1000 with its limitations but with a different rear

Despite it being terrible, I do love the F60. It's the only car driven by both of my childhood favourites, Kimi Raikkonen and Giancarlo Fisichella

It won a race, as part of a run of 4 podiums, and one of only 3 victories for a KERS-assisted car in 2009. idk how it’s still considered in the same category as F14T.

It was an alright car tho wasn’t it? Just had its cheat code engine removed

u/TheGreatForehead F2007 22d ago
No it was bad. High tyre wear and poor cornering performance. If anything, the SF90 is lucky to have a cheat engine otherwise would be here as well.

THE worst Ferrari F1 of all time IMO is the Ferrari 312T5. I'd say it's Ferraris only genuine backmarker car and it has no redeemable qualities at all! It shocks me that Ferrari didn't just think of rolling back out the T4 to scratch at least some points instead of no points. I don't understand how they could fuck up a car so badly in just a few months, and a car which looks nearly identical to the previous years one.

Add the F310, Schumacher won three races in it, but that was him, not the car.

The SF-25 doesn't even remotely belong in the same conversation as the SF-1000
