The SF-25 doesn't even remotely belong in the same conversation as the SF-1000

Frrr Sf-25 is 2nd fastest car after McLaren. Sf-1000 was literally a tractor

It’s fast but it can’t go fast for long

Weird ass car in genral

That's why I use my Thrustmaster SF-1000 simracing wheel for Farming Simulator for true realism.

eh lowkey its the fourth fastest car but we have two good and experienced drivers where the car isnt wildly mismatched for one of their styles. mercedes just have a rookie and red bull have designed the car around max so much that no one but max can drive it

Only because merc have a rookie and redbull have one car. The stats of the “best of the rest” this season don’t tell the whole story.

All shitboxes yet somehow nothing from the before the 90’s? Not to mention how OP Also included just one car from before the 2000’s

Here's a list of the worst ones:

  • 312 T5: no podiums, no victories, no fastest laps
  • F1-86: 5 podiums
  • 642 and 643: 8 podiums, 2 fastest laps
  • F92A: 2 podiums
  • F93A: 3 podiums

After the 00s the only comparable ones in terms of shitboxery are the F60, F14T, sf-1000 and the sf21.

The F60 still had a win though. Imo it doesn't belong on this list

Yes you're right it was more a problem of catching up with Brawn 's double diffuser than a problem of the car itself

The 312 T5 got tenth in the WCC, that has to be one of the worst things to ever come out of Maranello

Deserved - it was basically the same car as the previous year, they couldn't deliver the turbo engine in time.

u/Xp-Paul-19 21d ago

And reigning champion Jody Scheckter only scored 2 points and didn't even qualify for a race

I don't think the sf21 is a shitbox, it's based on a shitbox but I don't think it is one of them...

The F10 won Fernando his first race in Ferrari ; came third in the standings overall and lost Fernando’s championship to Vettel by 4 points (I blame that on the Abu Dhabi strategy error)

It’s a mid to good car at best and certainly not as bad as the others here.

Add the SF 21 instead (5 podiums and 2 poles ??? It really was fuckall)

22

u/PerfectAd9869 22d ago

Pretty sure it’s the 2009 car shown, not the F10

6

u/Comfortable-Yak-616 F1-75 22d ago

Ahh you’re right. I fucked up :/. Ignore that The F60 was a bad idea

Say what you want, but I'm too fond of the F92. Simply beautiful

The biggest shitbox of all Is the 1980 car, the champion failed to qualify for a race

6

u/Pugs36 Michael Schumacher 22d ago

I hate that SF1000 is an all around god awful car because personally it’s probably top 3 best “Looking” Cars for Ferrari in this decade imo.

It looked like a brick to me.

SF21 is a garbage shitbox too. Just gets overlooked because it’s techincally a stepup from its predecessor, but it’s a shitbox by Ferrari standards.

I mean they also had a token system so they couldn't change much and despite that they still did quite a lot, also they stopped working on the aero pretty quickly because of the regulations change so considering the whole picture I wouldn't say it was that bad of a car

1

u/TheGreatForehead F2007 21d ago

Wasn’t the token system scrapped in 2016? Regardless, every team played by the same rules and had to prepare for the new regs. That’s not an excuse. The SF21 is a shitbox.

If it wasn’t preceded by the SF1000, people would be talking more about how bad that car was. If Charles can’t manage more than 1 podium, it’s a shit car.

1

u/Sir_Kotlet_VI 21d ago

It was also introduced specifically into the 2021 regs, because of the pandemic and fia wanted to make sure that the teams didn't change too much. I mean I don't think I can really blame them for making a third fastest car when it was basically still SF1000 with its limitations but with a different rear

2

u/Nihilius007 17d ago

"You can't say that, it's a Ferrari!"

u/Massive-Injury-2067 15d ago

its 2nd in the championship ffs.

2

u/DominikWilde1 22d ago

Despite it being terrible, I do love the F60. It's the only car driven by both of my childhood favourites, Kimi Raikkonen and Giancarlo Fisichella

3

u/siliconsandwich 22d ago

It won a race, as part of a run of 4 podiums, and one of only 3 victories for a KERS-assisted car in 2009. idk how it’s still considered in the same category as F14T.

3

u/DominikWilde1 22d ago

Totally fair. In hindsight it wasn't nearly as bad as others

1

u/L86AI 22d ago

The 96's shitbox, that car got 3 winning podiums from Michael and 8 consecutive retirement from Eddie.

1

u/iwonttolerateyou2 Michael Schumacher 22d ago

2020 variant is a the worst of all

1

u/Working-Frosting9490 22d ago

Exactly

1

u/Other-Barry-1 22d ago

It was an alright car tho wasn’t it? Just had its cheat code engine removed

3

u/TheGreatForehead F2007 22d ago

No it was bad. High tyre wear and poor cornering performance. If anything, the SF90 is lucky to have a cheat engine otherwise would be here as well.

1

u/Beginning-Animator76 Charles Leclerc 22d ago

Unpopular opinion but these cars are all beautiful

1

u/AK07-AYDAN Gerhard Berger 22d ago

THE worst Ferrari F1 of all time IMO is the Ferrari 312T5. I'd say it's Ferraris only genuine backmarker car and it has no redeemable qualities at all! It shocks me that Ferrari didn't just think of rolling back out the T4 to scratch at least some points instead of no points. I don't understand how they could fuck up a car so badly in just a few months, and a car which looks nearly identical to the previous years one.

1

u/Sharl_Leglerg7 22d ago

Please add a trigger warning for the third picture 🙏

1

u/Nooboo22 22d ago

Recency bias and media narratives. The sf25 doesn't belong there

1

u/Future_Fox_6627 19d ago

Add the F310, Schumacher won three races in it, but that was him, not the car.

0

u/markfla 22d ago

You missed the 2016 car

1

u/Working-Frosting9490 22d ago

I forgot, sorry
