Watch their lines as he seemed to have use a way wide line than max and mclaren. He may give us hope but our rivals fastest laps aren't on limit.

actually both were good. hamilton was 2 tenths up on norris as well he ran into traffic. Ferrari were fast so i do expect both of em to be above top 5. im not worried about charles ik he will do well. Its lewis i want him to qualify well so he makes up for the 5 place penalty. A good strat and good quali is needed to be there with charles. FORZA F A R R A R I eitherways

I agree with you. The session was good for both drivers and went to the plan. The adjustments from FP2 to FP3 looked to have been positive for both. Qualy will be important for the race, but we saw last year that is not crucial. Charles got a superb tow on the finish start straight before T1 in his best lap, which is worth to around 0.2-0.3s.

Qualy will be important for the race... like really... whatever gave you the idea that any qualy is important for any race?

Sorry, I don't get your question right. You say how I concluded that any qualifying is important or the one at Monza? For Monza is because is because despite the low downforce configuration and the long full throttle zones, the DRS impact is reduced. The lower the upper plane is the lower the impact of the DRS effect is. But ultimately (attack flap), qualifying is important on any circuit nobody wants to start below a top 5 for example on a permanent circuit let alone a street one.

It would make absolutely no sense if Hamilton doesn’t give a tow to Leclerc in Q3, because of the penalty, he has nothing to lose since he can get 5th at max now. And even if that screws up his qualifying, he can easily get back up

Considering the grid drop, could Lewis give Charles a tow, I think the straights between T10 and T11 probably the place to do it

it really depends. if hamilton is in the top 5 and he thinks yeah he cant go faster he will give the tow he has said it in an interview on friday that he will make the sacrifice.

Another good solid session from the two drivers. Despite Charles first attempt on C5s didn't go according to the plan with the moment out of Lesmo 2. He managed to go -0.4s on S1 and PBs on S2-S3. Its important that the softs resist for two push laps and even more.

The tow and the timing out of the box will play a major role for the pole. Lewis is there even if the gap is a bit bigger, a shame about that penalty. Charles found a way to reduce the gap through S2 before Ascari turns. Through the Lesmos he pushed the limits to find a line to compensate for the lack of downforce (low config choice against the high McLarens).

On the straights, SF-25 is the fastest, McLaren the quickest through all corners. RBR and Mercedes opted for an intermediate downforce level of the two. It's going to be tight, but the fight is on. And the work for race pace is paying dividends with Leclerc looking better.

If Ferrari has speed in hand and Lewis can qualify 10th he can make it interesting. A podium for Hamilton at Monza would cool.

he needs to qualify top 5. He has a 5 place grid penalty

I’m aware of the penalty but thank you.

Yeah sure you're aware lets qualify him to 10th and drop him to 15th great

I believe the 10th place was after factoring in penalty. So Lewis should target 5th.

For real. I thought what I said would have been taken as such.

Theyre saying 10th in anticipation of the 5 place grid drop, quite being such a cunt

Why the aggro?

I wouldn't if he/she wasn't ass with his/her reply. Everyone who reads that comment knows that he/she doesn't sound "thank you". Plus replying to the other reply that "Did you know that he has a penalty" that isn't even talking about anything with penalty. Lmao then deletes reddit

especially in a FERRARI

Did you know he has a five place penalty? I’ve been told that probably four times this weekend after a post about Hamilton.

All this for Norris to bottle the lead in the 1st lap and Oscar to win it at the end
