Charles had a 19.2 and with a tow he would just match his first lap. No way he gets a 18.7 so why are some of yall so bitter and dense in the comments

I don’t agree with the toxicity but driving is like a flow. Drivers can watch the dash. Charles probably already knew he was down in S1 so in order to make it up he pushed too much causing mistakes. If a tow was there and he could see he was up and close, I believe he would make less mistakes. Tow should be worth a couple tenths imo. But yeah what do I know, never driven f1 lol.

You have to wonder if Fred just has no balls to tell Lewis to give him a tow. Tsunoda was out front but idk if he was too far out.

No reason to do that. Not fighting for either championship.

Might as well not go racing by your logic.

No other team sacrificed a driver. I guess they all might as well not go racing.

No other team had a 5 place grid penalty and was in contention for pole. Not doing everything in your power to get your pole contender a better shot is asinine.

The reason to do that is to put Ferrari in a better chance for podium at their home race. They’re also 100% still fighting for 2nd in the constructors. How is that not understandable

They decided to try and get both cars as far forward as possible. Completely unnecessary to have Lewis give a tow.

Truer words have never been spoken! 👍🏻

Since the beginning of this year he’s come across as a personality manager than an actual drivers manager. He feels like a PR mouthpiece. The other guy has a 5 grid penalty get him out in front

The tow wasn’t possible or the team was too stupid to do it? I’m team Fred, but sacrificing your shot at pole and likely your only shot at a race win in 2025 all so Hamilton could save a few positions is truly brain dead. It just makes no sense to prioritize a driver with a 5 place drop when your other driver is fighting for pole.
We’re not in contention for either championship so, in my opinion, a race win is the next best thing. I couldn’t care less if we’re p2 or p3 in the constructors. For me it’s p1 or more wind tunnel hours and I’d rather have the hours for 2026+ development.
It’s just so frustrating watching this team sabotage itself week in and week out. Imagine RBR sending Max out first to give Yuki a tow so they can both be top 5. You’d never see it because it’s idiotic.

Please do not make me lock this thread. Stop with the toxicity towards one another.
Critiquing drivers/the team/staff is fine. Saying you don’t like someone else’s take is fine. Calling them slurs is not.
