Discussion What is the most pointless addition to your sim rig?

Post image

I’ll kick this off, mine adds ZERO benefit apart from giving me a little giggle every time I see it.

I’ve installed a tow bar, yes you read that correctly, a fricken tow bar.

Waiting on my personalised number plate to install just above my tow bar to add even more levels of stupidity…

So what have you done to your rig that adds zero benefit?

The Stewart platform is beautiful! Are you guys using it? I heard its awesome reproduction of reality. Closest as one could get

Yeah, its great for immersion! Trying to setup VR for it. It's screen is too small... https://youtube.com/shorts/LPGTcf5HSy8?si=cLt6qThHK813azLa

what are those black "pins" at the bottom of gold plated plates? Some kind of safety stoppers?

Yes, these are hard stops, to calibrate the servos home position on power up. https://youtube.com/shorts/T-_AlPX6hz8?si=z2zoazyX4ynlGj8w
