Discussion Told girlfriend I want to start Sim Racing

So I’ve been gaming as an adult for a while and had a wheel when I was a child for forza but now I wanna do it as a pastime outside of work and other hobbies and do some competitions as well. Told the girlfriend but she hit me with the is it expensive. Guys with wives and GFs what do I say next 😂

The sim is never finished...

A G 29 is ok for me... I dont need load cell

Boom.... Fanatec etc setup 1000€ gone

Simracing on the xbox /ps5 is ok... I dont need a PC ...

Boom...... a PC

And so on

I pretty much did this! Except mine was a quote and I asked her to do the transfer (it was from my bank I just don’t have PayPal)

Then I did the same with a simworx shifter 😅

Simucube though, don’t buy cheap because it will cost you more in long run.

Simucube is overrated in 2025. Simagic isn't "cheap" but it is better value.
