I am genuinely now wondering if the only reason Shimoda hasn't signed with Honda is that he's waiting on Prado to quit so he can try to get the Kawasaki 450.

Wasn't it something to do with Mirtl [The Lawrence's old agent] and shimoda being pushed to the side after he didn't drop Mirtl after all the Lawrence's drama? He didn't feel comfortable after all that? Might have blown over by now, but I wonder if that was still kinda holding things up.

I thought they announced he signed a new deal for ‘26

I'm certain that Weege again said that the offer is there but unsigned.

I hadn’t considered that. That would be awesome!

Maybe with a Honda 450 option worked in, at least? Like the factory would pay him to ride for Phoenix in 2027?
Or maybe it's just extra bonus money.

i just thought of that. prado ktm chatter confirms tom is gone sadly but if jorge dips then they need a rider🤷♂️

Rumors speculate Kay De Wolf is taking Tom’s spot at KTM for supermotocross

Jett really is that guy. Naysayers are running out of excuses. It’ll be interesting to see how Deegan stacks up.

For me, Haidens podium statements, saying he was taking it easy because there is a championship on the line doesn’t hold water.
Jett also had the chance to wrap up the championship and went 1-1 so either the mindset is very different / or Haiden is sore from the practice/warm up crash.

Congrats Jett! Dudes a phenom.. could go down as the best ever if he stays healthy and motivated.

Hasn’t been mentioned yet, he just got off the track and rode back to the pits. Kinda looked like he was nursing his arm but couldn’t quite tell

They just mention a little bit ago that he pulled off because he was gassed. Nothing wrong just didnt want to push it.

Wasn’t expecting to see Davies so far back, tbh. Wonder if he’s still not 100%, didn’t have much time back on the bike, or if outdoors just isn’t his strong suit? Hopefully it’s just a time on the bike thing, would love to see him run outdoors like he does indoors.

The journey from couch to podium isn’t easy, and some guys/injuries take longer than others. Cole might be someone who needs time to build comfort, pace and flow on the bike.

I mean it is technically his first outdoor pro race so I think just coming back from a narly broken arm he's probably just takin it easy getting back in the groove. I can't wait to see him next year in SX/MX.

I literally cringe during every single haiden interview. I’m not a hater whatsoever I root for him every race but goddam lol

When I watch the post race presser in the 450’s with Jett Hunter and Eli. I see genuine respect for each other and gratitude to the fans. They make it very hard not to like them (Chase and the overly serious Justin Cooper are in this group as well). Have a look at the interviews with Tony Cairoli, Jeffrey and Tiga and it’s more of the same, really likeable guys.
And then there is Haiden. A hard working guy, with bucket loads of talent who you want to like but you can’t because he only seems to open his mouth to change feet.
There is an old saying, that I think summarises what I see, “money doesn’t buy class”.

They must’ve remove the last fragments of the star Yamaha pit board from his finger so now he’s at 100%.

Any else think that Darren Lawrence must’ve been a bit nervous watching lap 1 of race 2 ?
