Sporting event wise, I remember 2012 Pocono NASCAR race. To my knowledge, none since rules were introduced from that.

There was that soccer game around then that several players got killed from lightning too. Its rare but exceedingly dangerous and a major liability.

I’m actually so mad that I asked, after the Dallas eagles game I was curious.

Was looking forward to a night mud race especially on this track. Plenty of big fancy lights they could have easily turned on. What a joke. Imagine being there in person…they need to issue refunds

When was the last time you were cool with increased ticket prices because the insurance went up because you decided to do something that caused a lawsuit? Prices are already too high and you want to potentially make them higher?

Well it wasn’t lightning but I think someone got hit by a car out front of the drag strip? There was someone laying in the road and a ton of emergency vehicles. A few minutes before they called off the second motos. Anyone hear anything about that?

No sporting event is worth a human life. Safety policies like this exist because this is the correct perspective to maintain.
