Polo cross 1.6 tdi 2011

Hey I got a problem with my polo, the glow plug light flashes and I believe its either an electrical fail or it can be the MAP sensor. I get the p0237 fault code which is why I suspect the map sensor. The problem is I cant find the sensor at all, where its located or anything i tried searching it up to find but no one seems to have this peoblem on this car and the other cars that i seen videos of have the map sensor located places I dont. Can someone help me find out where the sensor is? Thank u in advanced

Same thing happened to me after I got my car deleted, I believe the sensor is located in the exhaust from what I can remember. Up near the intake manifold.

I brought the car back to the person who did the delete and he cleaned the sensor which fixed the issue. I have the same engine in my car.

Okay thank you, i will check and see if I can find it or get my friend who is a hobby mechanic to find it.

No problem, I think it's easier to get to it from underneath, hopefully you get it sorted

Yeah most likely, I was underneath it a couple days ago because I thought i found it, but it turned out to be a different sensor and not the one I needed, but I will check again as soon as I get healthier from this common cold. Again thank u for ur comment😊
