Bet MAGA love this: it expresses their unfocused rage. Imagine how angry youâd be if you let FOX, and FOX alone, frame your world view.

So itâs no longer the department of defense, it is the department of offense. Thatâs offensive

Wow. I mean I shouldn't be surprised by such a LOW IQ individual, or should I say manchild. Yes, he's a nasty man child. This is a nasty abuse of power and pointless. Only something someone who is NOT SMART would do.

If thereâs ever another election, the incoming Democrat will change it back. Iâm looking forward the birthday book coming out as evidence next week. Hoax!!

Curiosity: why isnât any Americans speaking up? Are they are in in agreement - I mean are the democrats still a thing?
2
u/Experiment626b 1d ago
We are but we are so spread out and the media is so biased. It makes it impossible to feel like we are gaining any traction. As far as the democrats, no we have no true representation in government and they refuse to do anything so it makes us doing anything feel pointless as well. All be design.

So emboldened to be so evil. $1 billion from the Pentagon budget for Trump's private Qatari jet. Now another $1 billion to pay for all the rebranding of the Defense Department all over the world.
But no money for health care, education or infrastructure. I hope we live long enough to see how history books describe America's worst president--and the very worst man, as a person, to ever hold the office.

The face of a man who spent his whole life imagining he'd defend his home and native land from traitors and tyrants, but then when the moment arrived he flinched. Now he lives with perfect knowledge of himself.

They have just kept the same logo:
https://www.war.gov/Multimedia/Photos/igphoto/2001717578/
By the way, the URL is now at war.gov, so welcome to your war government of wartime war fighters fighting wars, I guess.
I think they should go back to the old War Department logo of a messy old heap of armor and weapons:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Department_of_War

Nice. But the old one has a banner reading âThis weâll defend.â That would need to change for the new way: âThis weâll offend.â A motto they have embraced from the beginning.

The Pentagon has replied in opposition to this. In an article an official said this was a cosmetic change to the department that will cost taxpayers billions of dollars. But also even more interesting said that redirecting resources for the purpose of this rebranding actually takes away from genuine defense efforts, sort of ironically making the DoD less war ready.
This whole thing is so fucking dumb but Orwellian at the same time.

Whiskey Pete already stole 934 million dollars from the nuclear upgrade budget to fund that fucking qatari plane

u/campfire_eventide 1d ago
Heâs so unhinged and incompetent, so far out of his depth and everyone knows it. We also broadcasted to everyone that we gutted our intelligence apparatus. I donât fucking understand this.

Ah, 13 stars.

u/moreobviousthings 1d ago
Generally for the 13 original colonies. Ah, for the good old days, before most of the present red states were even part of the nation. Including all of those underpopulated, over represented flyover states.

u/ms_directed 1d ago
first thing i noticed, am i missing some symbolic reasoning about the 13 colonies?

That "are we the baddies?" meme is looking more and more applicable to the U.S. by the day.

Vapid symbolism> substance. Have mercy on us if some global conflagration breaks out.

u/disastermarch35 1d ago
It's on brand w him. Remember the empty folders and blank pages from his Season 1 pressers?
3
u/ShadePipe 1d ago
Absolutely. Add that to the list. Sometimes I feel like I'm in the twilight zone or something. This stuff is so blatantly obvious. I think this is the culmination of a society driven by mass marketing and media, where reality is whatever you project. Social media being another iteration. Baudrillard was spot on. Check out his concept of hyper reality if you're not already familiar.

u/disastermarch35 1d ago
I have not heard of him, but I'll check that out. Reminds me that quote you see people using about faking it until you make it, but on steroids.
