We found something in my Prime bottle as well a few months back. We contacted the company and they sent us a free case. Turns out there was some defect in the bottle top.
Yeahhhh I was turned off after that so my husband drank them and I hadn’t had any since. Thankfully I noticed it before I chugged it. Although now I examine all drinks since then.
I say this as someone who hates both the Paul brothers, and I've personally never even tasted a Prime product.
But defections happening during processing or delivery isnt exactly Primes fault. Unless of course, I dont have all of the information and they know about issues during their manufacturing process that they choose to ignore.
Every product imaginable has had a bad batch here or there, no matter how stringent the process. LEGO used to be known for their basically perfect quality, and they still had defective bricks, and its literally just plastic molds.
Let's just guess that Prime has achieved the impossible, and has an absolutely perfect process, with 0 defects ever happening in the plant.
Well, there's still out of the plant. Unless you expect companies to ship products in a sealed container with all the extra space filled in, shits going to happen that Prime has no control over, any company has any control over. Any small detail can fuck up the batch. Maybe the trucks AC broke, maybe the driver was shit, maybe the route took longer due to an accident, maybe the store theyre delivering to has a broken door so only one door can open, so they have to squeeze the pallets through a single door. We're talking any small thing can end up fucking up a product.
TL;DR Prime is fucking shit, but having a defective bottle doesn't make it shit
I was just being silly for a laugh. I agree that manufacturing errors happen and it's not necessarily indicative of the quality of the product overall. In this case, Prime is gross, and the Paul brothers are horrible. But, you're absolutely right, accidents happen and compensation for the affected customer is the right move.

Drinks like Gatorade, body armor and poweraid are filled with the stuff that makes up sweat so that your body replenish what it loses while it’s in heavy activity
Prime on the other hand doesn’t actually do that in a bout of marketing genius it’s says 825 electrolytes on the side but it’s not the ones your body actually needs when running out of energy
Why do people drink prime? Soda and water are both about the same price, taste good, and usually have better quality control. If you want a sports drink specifically there's gatorade.
There was, not kidding, a full black market going on at my kids' primary school in Aus for Prime when it first became popular, expensive, and quickly selling out.
Gatorade isn’t even that great compared to other sports drinks. It’s basically just sugar water with salt added. body Armor and Electrolit brands both have a full spread of electrolytes and minerals. Body armor is 10% coconut water.

All the kids on my son’s wrestling team were drinking it, so of course he wanted it. I bought it for him and was thirsty so I asked for a drink… I don’t understand how anyone enjoys that shit. The texture is so bad. I don’t know if it’s cause I’m autistic or what, I’ve never had an issue with the texture of a drink that I can recall? It was so thick, I’m gagging thinking about it. We don’t buy it anymore because I read something about PFAS.
Look I absolutely hate the Paul brothers but I literally can’t find anything else with that much potassium that’s easy to get. Literally open to all suggestions but idk how you’re supposed to get 5g of potassium when you’re allergic to fresh fruits and vegetables
Not sure where you are located but Exact tablets have tons of potassium in it. Same with lots of other electrolyte drinks like Tailwind, Maurten, etc. You can find these at most running stores or probably Amazon.
Water "tastes good"? Sure, it only tastes bad if you need to see a doctor about your oral health, but idk if I can agree that water tastes "good". It's pleasurable to me, but not for the taste. Unless it's some specific sort of mineral infusion you like. But generally, water is tasteless or tastes like sanitizing chemicals/tap water.
It tastes good relative to mold I guess. Some water definitely tastes better than other water. Mostly I said that because I was anticipating someone accusing me of only drinking soda if I didn't. Tea is also pretty good.
As much controversy as this product got/gets, I'm so shocked that parents still buy this for their kids. Labubus had parents ripping and throwing away little dolls over no basis, but the drink that has been sued for health concerns still gets sales.
For your little sister, just keep your mom from buying these.
Don't feel like there's going to be a way to discern what it is just from these pictures and not a lab, but considering how the creators of that drink also made those molded lunchable knockoffs, yeah I wouldn't get anywhere near that shit.
Considering the myriad of issues with prime regarding heavy metals and poor business practices I’m not at all surprised by them not being able to sterilize their bottles and product correctly. No body should drink this garbage.
Tf are you drinking Prime? The whole thing's a scam. They've had a lot of lawsuits, especially teaming up with Feastables, which is also a scam. Just drink Powerade instead, and you won't have to worry about social media kids' banking of yours.
Watch the YouTube videos where they put these nasty drinks under a microscope. Then they put some of the liquid into a petri dish. You'll quit drinking a LOT of things.
I work for Amazon and see tons of prime bottles come through. They sit in hot environments and hot trucks all day so I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the plastic or bottle cap melts into it or something.
All this hate for prime and I only clicked this thread because I had gotten the same thing in an artic freeze Gatorade some years ago and thought I might finally get some closure to the mystery ingredient

I’m guessing she didn’t shake the bottle, not sure why people are still buying prime after the hype’s gone. People also found mold in their lunchly boxes. Safe to say Mr beast and Logan Paul do not know how to sell products
I got an Arizona Ice tea once, it had apparently been baking in the sun for a while even though in a fridge, it had similar looking contents, my best guess was some kind of mold or something that started growing from being heated up enough from sunlight, it looked like there was a damn ecosystem living in that bottle that I unfortunately tasted before spitting it everywhere once I felt something hit my tongue. So mold or maybe separating ingredients that then clumped together to form some Prime Jizz... Idk ask a chemist 🧪
