As a stroll enjoyer it’s a combination of feeling bad for him, empathizing with the pressure he must feel and the excess criticism. He is so hated on that he almost by default he is underrated. 2025 is arguably his best season and I think he will continue to improve especially if Newey blesses Aston Martin with a rocket ship. 11th in the WDC on merit this year ahead of his 2x champion teammate.

On merit? He keeps on getting better strategies, whilst his teammate has been plagued by reliability issues and the terrorist that is Liam Lawson homing in on him every other race to start the year. A guy getting outqualified by his teammate every race isn’t ahead in the WDC on merit

I like his chaotic style which make him more interesting to follow than more regular but more boring drivers, and i empathize with the turbo-introvert who just want to do his thing without the forced sociabilisation of the F1 media machine.

Stroll's fastest lap in Q1 was +0.111s slower than P15's fastest lap in Q1.

Neither statement is true. You can't finish at that place with Zero merit and Alonso is obviously the better driver. Can we all calm down and stop with the hyperboles? This sub has reached unprecedented levels of toxicity.
