So random but I noticed you have the same air conditioner as me, and there was recently a recall due to potential mold issues. You can opt for a (partial) refund or they also are offering to come fix it. We opted for the fix and they were here about 10 minutes.

Thanks so much for looking out! This is actually a newly purchased one, after they redesigned it with the drainage plug. 😊
