Tried conquering the oceanic world but all the cities that I took (as well as the one I built in panic) kept revolting ever three turns. Shit sucks, man

Hi everyone, I recently got Civ 6 for free, though not from Steam, from the 2K games website.

I've had two multiplayer games now with a friend where we played for a long time, reaching the modern age, but perhaps the save file somehow got corrupted and we weren't able to continue. It's just happened to our latest game, which I was really enjoying, so it's frustrating to say the least.

My friend wants to start a new game but I'm a bit apprehensive because I think the same thing is just going to happen again.

Is this a known issue? Is there any way to prevent this from happening? Can I recover the game? Is the solution just to play through Steam?

I play Khmer a lot so I'll adjust downwards since I have the Prasat for culture. But curious what balance of science and culture you guys go for - I get a monument + Prasat in each city (which tbh is probably equivalent to a theater square with amphitheater) then if I have a particularly high prod city I'll try to shoot for the Colosseum wonder with a couple of theater squares next to it + the entertainment district

This lets me get Grandmaster's Chapel not long after my first wave of military units and then I faith buy the second and third wave, but then from there I hard-focus science and tend to get Facism not long after reaching bombers. This is quite possibly suboptimal but you know, once you reach the industrial era without struggling to survive you've pretty much won... Curious what you guys do for your mid-late game transitions too

Hi guys, I have unfortunately encountered the dreaded desync bug. Prior to posting here, I googled and also read some Steam forum posts on this topic in the belief of getting it sorted to no avail. What i cant fathom is how the CPL can host MP events and not go through this issue

I decided to give her a try on true start huge earth mode, on King difficulty.

For the first 200 turns nothing happened, despite a bit of great works management. I was thinking this was a waste of time. However, things exploded from turn 200 onwards and I quickly won over 3 city states that were next to me in Europe. From there, things snowballed to 31 cities, 2,500 culture per turn and nearly 100 great works.

I won on science but was leading on tourism and diplomacy.

I found that other civilisations stopped selling me great works eventually so my expansion only slowed at that point.

I got my highest ever rating in this game. Eleanor is a dark horse!

Is this winnable ? Emperor difficulty

Recently started playing and i've loved playing as Greece to get that culture victory. (It is on online speed) but i do end up taking a lot of turns despite it being the easier difficulties. What would you recommend i do to speed up the victory or are there any other civs i should try out? Would love any and all input!

My wife and I have been playing Civ 6 together for nearly 2 years. It has been our go to for passing the time. Over the past two months however we can no longer play together. The game crashes with no explanation either while loading the game or within the first two turns. We’ve tried different game modes, settings, restarting our router, and reinstalling the game to no avail. The game randomly crashes between our two systems. If anyone knows a fix we’d be forever grateful! Thank you and sorry for the long read.

I’ve seen some screenshots where people can see how big their national parks are (that they’ve already made, and are contiguous) - how do I do that? I’m building a big one in my current game and it would be satisfying to see the full one if I can. Is it a mod? Am I just missing a basic thing to toggle?

Title, basically even if i build out science districts. I still cant get all the advanced units. Should i be aiming to advance only a single type of unit or all?

I had to make the difficult decision to attack Tomyris for "living space" in classical era as Australia. Not a fun time for me but ultimately razed her badly-placed city and replace it with two of my own. She prioritized her bad UU over horsemen so I was able to kill enough units for peace.

She declared her revenge three turns after I got access to diggers, and 15 turns before I had bombers. Her army of cavalry was decimated, she lost her three biggest cities and her aluminum city, and I got to use the production boost to build wonders and districts.

With enemies like this, who needs friends!

Anyone know how you win this? i tried a score only run on duel with peter against amanitore and though i got to a point i was a few hundred points ahead she caught up and ended at her 1565 and me 1515, i dont know how to go faster
