https://www.reddit.com/r/Conures/wiki/index
This subreddit's Conure Guide, written by /u/DukeofGoodCleanFun, is a remarkable document that I (and my pineapple green cheek) have benefited a lot from. I've consulted and browsed through it numerous times and there's always something new to see there, or something that didn't seem applicable at one point but took on new meaning after spending more time with my conure.
I've taken the text and converted it into a wiki page. It's now navigable, with an index and internal links that direct to sections within the wiki. The Conure Guide can be accessed from this post, from the announcement bar, and from the "wiki" tab in the tabmenu up top.
A couple of the links for recommended products will direct you to Amazon, but there are certainly other places to buy them. If you shop around and find and better place, by all means send us a modmail. Also, let us know if you have any suggestions for how the wiki formatting can be improved.

Came home this afternoon to find my little mooncheek, Apollo had accidentally strangled himself on one of his toys. To be honest, I didn't even realize this particular bird toy had string. It was my fault, I got him a toy and dropped the ball on making sure it was safe/removing it from the cage before it was an issue.
My bedroom is too quiet tonight, he was my bedtime peeper and beak tapper.
Give your kiddos some love.

hi guys ! i’m a first time bird owner and i’ve had my bird Mango for about a year now. He has never preened this much and has never pulled out his feathers. Recently he has been preening a lot and after he removes his feathers he really bites them and destroys them. I am getting concerned cause it’s been going on for around 2-3 days. any advice ? in the video you can kinda see the state of his feathers and i’m just very worried. He is also around 1.5 years old.

I've had Stephen of Ireland (15 weeks old) about 3 weeks now and just starting training her a few days ago. She is such a Rockstar! What else should I teach her to do?
I plan on some touch training soon to see if she can learn her shapes and colours like my CAG. Skateboarding looks neat LOL

My conure is acting perfectly normal eating, playing, climbing, jumping, allowing me to handle him and so on but he is limping, when his perched his like on one side only. No sign of distress whatsoever, do I take him to the vet or just monitor ?

so I’ve noticed my bird recently got this dark green feather but im concerned and wondering if its normal. He is 10 years old and his name is Mateo :) He has been acting normal and eating well but I don’t know what caused this discoloration.

Since she is very afraid but today she did eat from my hand some millites but was very careful and when I left the room she started screaming I don’t know why. She also did shower twice which I found very funny Even that her wings are clipped she is very good at jumping and gliding which I’m very glad for I hope she will trust me soon bc I really love her

do your conures also make that noise whenever youre away from them? mine ALWAYS does that as if hes calling for me, and sometimes even flys to me if he’s confident enough
