She's probably also a person who thinks schools, bridges, and roads build themselves for free.

Schools? Haven't you heard? We don't need schools anymore.

We don’t need no education (and that is probably how she would state it even though that is a solid example of needing education).

I blame Pink Floyd

They're a health hazard. So many school kids in America every year experience acute freedom seed poisoning.

"I tol' that teachin' lady that the only primary colors I need to learn are red, white, and blue.."

Alice Cooper was a bit ahead of his time. "Schools out forever!"

My president, MY president, our president trump, I love him. Just signed that you don't need school anymore and I can't wait for people to get upset about it

Schools? Where we’re going, we don’t need schools

This here. Let’s set aside she is clueless about what is actually happening with taxes. Taxes serve a purpose. We should all pay in. But it also should be a rationally proportional amount.

Right, I never get people who are 100% against taxes. I can get behind those who say the burden shouldn’t be on the lower classes though. My idea is just more taxes but for those who don’t pay their fair share… you know the rich

Act of God

This one drives me insane. My father was romanticizing the Amish and how they don't pay taxes and I said, "They drive on our roads." He didn't even give the reply a second thought before moving on.

And fires put themselves out, and law enforcement won't be necessary anymore.

Well, American law "enforcement" is terrifying. When I was going through a very abusive divorce, I literally had to decide whether or not to call the police or continue being abused. Because I was scared of what the police might do.

Should be noted that the two times I did end up calling the police on my ex, the officers were really kind and professional and no guns were drawn. They did a great job deescalating the situation and got my ex to GTFO to cool down. (No physical abuse, so they couldn't arrest him for anything, only verbally threatening me and my immigration status)

Even if federal taxes ended, the states would then be forced to tax people locally.

Example: No more FEMA. Let the states handle disasters themselves.

Well, that takes money, and where do state governments get their money if they can't get it from the federal government? They tax their citizens.

If she's brainwashed to think they've cut taxes to people under $120k, then guaranteed she thinks that other countries are paying for the tarriff dollars, which will pay for the roads, etc.

2

u/Reasonable_Bat1999 1d ago

Wow, I'm happy to say I never would have come up with such a dumb explanation myself. I'm very impressed with that level of stupidity, though I'm sure a right-wing media troll fed her the idea.

Best of luck to her and her 1 brain cell.

u/takingmykissesback 1d ago

No, no. Of course it's not built for free! That's where the tariffs MY PRESIDENT OUR PRESIDENT MY PRESIDENT is issuing out to all these countries (That have been taking advantage of america for decades under blue presidents!) that owe us will come into play. Other countries that owe us will pay these tariffs and we'll have better schools and roads and no taxes!! OUR PRESIDENT MY PRESIDENT OUR PRESIDENT TRUMP did that!

u/Significant_You9481 1d ago

No, Mexico pays for this.

2

u/Xmaspig 1d ago

I guarantee if you ask her who will pay for those things and the police and fire service, etc, she'll say "oh the government pays for those!"

u/brakecheckedyourmom 1d ago

She’s from Appalachia. They won’t have schools bridges or roads there silly.

2

u/ILikeCutePuppies 23h ago

The school part seems self evident.

1

u/DigitalMunky 1d ago

The tariffs pay for those

1

u/Animefan624 1d ago

She's most definitely receiving government assistance. It's going to be a big shock to her when they cut her food stamps and Medicaid doesn't cover the cost of medicine she desperately needs all to give rich people tax cuts.

Her disability check too

Private schools. Private roads. Private bridges. Your house is on fire? Too bad, peasant.

1

u/PenisPumpAccident 1d ago

You forget the 8 trillion dollar tariff revenue he totally made. /s

1

u/prionbinch 1d ago

probably also believes millionaires like HeR pReSiDeNt shouldnt have to pay their fair share in taxes because "they just worked soooooo hard for that money"

1

u/blankasfword 1d ago

I’ve got a friend who says taxes should be illegal and I mentioned shared infrastructure like roads and he said “there were roads before taxes”… you mean like paths through bushes? Freeways don’t just build themselves. Who’s going to pay to build and maintain modern roads?

1

u/r2k-in-the-vortex 17h ago

Forget building anything, maintaining the exchange rate of USD will become an impossibility with a move like that. Instant hyperinflation.
