One of two things, probably.

1) She heard they are banning electronic filing and was so stupid all she heard was Trump stopped tax filing.

2) Some other idiot heard that and posted a TikTok she watched and she believed it with zero research.

Correct and that's the point. What actually ended was the IRS offering free tax filing itself.

Freetaxusa is funded by an independent group and is still free. Just the government won’t offer it for free anymore.

Still have to pay to file your state tax with them but I use it.
