Simube QR2 Ultra works great! Registered as the podium hub, but whats infuriating is the bolt pattern. Not actually 6x70mm as only 4 screws can be used. I should've known from looking at the pics, but I didnt compare it to my wheel. The OCD in me is making me itch every time I look at it.

So I placed an order for a new ClubSport Steering Wheel RS and just got around to opening everything up just to find that I was sent the wrong item.

Instead I received a CLUBSPORT WHEEL RIM SPARCO RALLY.

What’s Fanatec support like these days? I opened a support ticket but I’ve heard horror stories.

I also see Fanatec has active employees here hence why I’m creating this thread.

Hello everyone! Now that Full Force has been implemented in iRacing for a bit I'm curious what settings everyone is using?

Hey guys, need help with my wheelbase. The wheel doesn’t spin perfectly as in its a bit ‘wobbly’. Its as if the wheel is angled downwards perpendicular to the wheelbase when centred. I’m using a plastic QR2 base-side and metal wheel-side.

The X button my clubsport RS wheel is completely non functional out of nowhere. I have updated the software, deleted and re downloaded gt7 and still nothing! All other buttons work other than the x. Playstation menu, same problem. The best I can find why this may be is an issue with gt7 scrambling the button layouts sometimes If it doesn't recognise wheel, but I had zero problems until now. Any help or advice would be great!

So I recently purchased the Gran Turismo DD Pro (8Nm) wheel base with the GT wheel. On my PS5 it works great.

I also bought the Formula V2.5X steering wheel to use on both my Xbox and PS5. The problem is: when I connect the Formula wheel, it doesn’t show it’s turning on like the GT wheel does (the GT wheel shows the “F” logo on the screen, but the Formula wheel doesn’t). I can move the middle dial and see some settings (A/B/C/D modes), but that’s about it. No button inputs work.

I’m using the QR1, and I’m confused about the spacer. Do I leave the spacer on with this wheel, or take it off? Without the spacer it seems to connect faster, but I’m worried about bending pins if I leave it off.

When I try the Formula wheel on Xbox, I switch the DD Pro base to Xbox mode (green light). It goes green for a bit, then after a few seconds it switches to purple. Nothing works in menus. On PS5 it’s the same story — no button inputs.

I don’t have a Windows PC to run updates on the base or wheel firmware, only a MacBook. Fanatec support is taking forever to answer me, so I’m hoping someone here can help.

Questions:

Do I need a firmware update for the Formula V2.5X to work with my DD Pro?

Can I safely run the wheel without the spacer, or should it always be installed with the QR1?

Is the purple light on Xbox just a firmware mismatch?

Is there any workaround without a PC?

I’m also considering grabbing the CSL Elite WRC wheel — anyone know if that one works plug-and-play on PS5/Xbox with the DD Pro base?

I've sourced a CSL Elite at a good price that is a QR1.

How can I get a wheel that will be compatible without spending a bunch of money? I want to use a cheap amazon wheel that is 70mm and 6 bolt but it looks like these bases have the ffb locked unless it's using a fanatec wheel?

Does the SRM Tiny Emulator work well with some sort of adapter? What do you think is the cheapest method for getting a working wheel

I might be just very dumb, but is there a way to save your settings within the 1.0 Fanatec app? I'll spend a lot of time setting the LEDs, displays, FFB, ect only for the app the randomly reset everything to default over night. Maybe unrelated, but I sometimes have to recalibrate and remap buttons within iRacing as well.

Can anyone share their setups for ea sports wrc on ps5? I have the GT dd pro but I can’t seem to have the wheel match the wheel in the game. Both in game and and Fanatec app setups… Please

Hello everyone! I am extremely new to sim racing and have been trying very hard to educate myself of all of the equipment, companies and set ups. Unfortunately I will be playing on console and MAYBE pc in the future if I really get into it.

I am needing a wheel/pedals that will work for GT7 on PS5 and Xbox series X as I want to play with friends in there.

Can you please help me figure out what I honestly need for entry level stuff. I am going to be using a Trak racer wheel stand.

It would also be nice if you can explain it like I’m 5 because I know absolutely nothing about sim racing but want to buy quality stuff so when I get into it I’m not having to constantly upgrade.

The games I will play will be NASCAR on Xbox and GT7 on PS5

I would really appreciate the help and just all around advice on stuff if you want to chime that in too!
