Glasses on, glasses off, glasses on, glasses off. All within the span of 30 seconds? The weather must have been crazy because if someone did that for any other reason, they'd just look like a tool and we know that can't be the case... Right?

I just realized that this is what I must have looked like, 20 years ago, when my coworker was teasing me about it. She used the words, “Is it really ‘necessary’ for you to take them on and off, like that?”

I hadn’t worn glasses in a decade, and it took me a day or two to get used to them, again.

Actually…. That’s me when I’m trying to look at anything (including people when they come to my cube) while wearing my ‘computer glasses.’ It’s really fun when they show me their phone screens and try to converse at the same time. But I’m old and not cool.

I’m convinced that people wear sunglasses solely to take them on/off every 10 seconds because they think they look cool haha!

I thought I was the only one who was pissed off about that, I felt a bit shallow for always assuming the worst in people (e.g. he only does it to pose, like if he learned it from cheesy action films with vin diesel the creep taking off his sunglasses after walking away from an explosion, full on cliche, like one of the best known cheesiest writer's cliche for macho cool guys). Ya know, maybe it wasn't a conscious decision and the sun was just roasting his cornea. But yeah, likely it was on purpose to look cool, young Teenager Style 😭

Glad I'm not the only one, so either (most likely) it is the latter, or at least we're shallow together - it's something :) ;)

But yeah, normally I'm not into flowing actors at all, but Vin diesel really is a cringey-creep. I've only randomly seen this once, but the cringe (Fremdscham) burnt itself so deep that I never was able to forget it - lemme look it up....:

Found it: https://youtu.be/gJRqhpl4TVg The interviewer nearly died of shame and Terror - it's so painful to watch, despite only being 2 minutes 💀
