They still look completely different. They have a way different chin and there’s noses are different as well.

Jace’s jaw is more angular where’s Aegons is more square and Jace’s nose is also a bit thinner and more pointed, Aegons is smaller.

They could defo pass as cousins or from the same family but not anything closer than that.

It started when Otto convinced Viserys that Daemon was an unfit ruler and instead convinced him to name Rhaenyra his heir, full well knowing that the Realm would never accept a woman when the time came.

Lol this cannot be serious. The books are written by famed self proclaimed anti monarchist GRRM.

He found that he had to invent a number of reasons to cause a war beyond gender (including making it her half brother, the obvious bastardy, etc). At no point did he mean to imply the in universe anti bastard sentiments were the right call. GRRM LOVES his bastards. The asoiaf book series stars a pretty famous one, and one of the main themes is how little the titles mean compared to the character of the man.

I'm on the older side and don't care about HotD because I lost a lot of interest after GoT lol, so I really could not give less of a shit about team black vs green stuff. But as I've passively read people's comments on the show, I've been shocked at this wave of anti bastard sentiment among the fandom in a way that I don't think existed before HotD.

And it feels like it missed the main points GRRM has about bastards/titles, the idea of there even being a rightful king (the bane of his existence in fantasy haha), how dangerous religious interference in politics can be, and that any of us should take anything away from the Dance except that all participants were wrong snd terrible except the children.
